Ayam woku manado
The main ingredient:
- ½ chicken, cut into 6 parts.
- 3 orange leaves, throw away the bone.
- 1 pandan leaf, tied into 1 knot.
- 2 lemongrass stems, sliced slanted.
- 1 tomato, diced.
- 1 stick of leeks, sliced into small pieces.
- 5 stalks of basil leaves, remove the stalk.
- 1 tsp salt.
- ½ tsp sugar.
- 500 ml of water.
- Cooking oil for sauteing.
Smoothed Material:
- 5 onion cloves.
- 2 large red chilies.
- 2 curly red chilies.
- 4 candlenut, roasted.
- 2 cm turmeric, burn first.
- 2 cm ginger.
How to make chicken woku:
First of all, puree the spices that must be smoothed. After that, heat the oil and saute the spices with pandan leaves, orange leaves, and lemongrass until fragrant.Then, put the chicken. Cook until it changes color.
Next, pour water, salt and sugar. Stir well.
After approaching the cooked chicken, put the tomatoes, scallions, and basil leaves for a sharper taste.
Woku Chicken is ready to be served.
